Why are you volunteering your time on the Baptist Health Foundation Hardin Board? In recent years, much of my time has been spent working on the revitalization of downtown Elizabethtown through my involvement in Elizabethtown Renaissance Associates. The booming business environment we see in downtown Elizabethtown is evidence that our community is thriving and will continue to thrive. But, no community can truly thrive without a quality healthcare sector. Baptist Health Hardin is the primary entity that provides our community with quality healthcare and it’s important for me to help in any way I can.
Why is it important for you to give back to the community? I grew up in this community and my wife and I have raised our three children here. I know the inherent value and potential of our region and it has always been important for me to identify ways in which I can help make a difference.
What does gratitude mean to you and what are you grateful for? I’m grateful for my family, my supportive community and for the network of world-class medical professionals who work with Baptist Health Hardin.
