An investment in the lives of many

Baptist Health Hardin Medical Pavilion

Over the last few years, we have seen many changes take place in Hardin County, one of the most notable being the construction of the new Baptist Health Hardin Medical Pavilion.

The largest project in the hospital’s history, the facility houses a new comprehensive cancer center with all patient services together for the first time; 12 new surgical sites, including a hybrid operating room; three additional cardiac catheterization labs; medical offices to accommodate new physicians and specialists; and patient-centric spaces designed to promote emotional and spiritual wellness.

In a region that is facing unprecedented growth, Baptist Health Hardin is answering a need to ensure that the population it serves has access to quality healthcare without having to leave the community they call home.

John and Kitty DuPlessis Family Chapel
Giving back to the community is a core value for Kitty and John DuPlessis Sr., a member of the Baptist Health Foundation Hardin Board. The faithful couple raised five children in Hardin County, says their son, John DuPlessis Jr., and his 87-year-old father is still actively volunteering today. With its colorful stained-glass windows, the new chapel is a welcoming and peaceful spot for staff, patients and loved ones to seek a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the hospital.

Valet Services at the Baptist Health Hardin Medical Pavilion
WesBanco Bank has been helping to drive growth for individuals, businesses and entire communities for over 150 years through innovative financial solutions and community investment. In 2023, the organization continued their commitment to serve Hardin County through the support of valet services at the new Baptist Health Hardin Medical Pavilion. Valet parking is an added convenience and alleviates additional stressors for those with mobility concerns.

New café set to enhance hospital experience
West Point Bank and Brandenburg Communications partnered to support a new café for the Baptist Health Hardin Medical Pavilion that not only offers patients and staff a chance for nourishment, but a change of scenery during long days. From employees working 12-hour shifts to families of patients experiencing long stays, the café is a space where you can feed your body and calm your mind.
