Heart Health

Imagine a future where heart health is within reach for everyone, where cardiovascular disease no longer claims lives, and where stroke survivors receive the care they need to flourish—together, we can make this vision a reality with your support.

Philanthropy Powers Lifesaving Heart Care

In 2025 alone, Baptist Health served more than 212,000 heart patients across Kentucky and southern Indiana, underscoring both the need and responsibility to deliver the very best care possible.

That level of care is made stronger through generosity.

Thanks to the support of donors to Baptist Health foundations, hospitals and care teams are better equipped to diagnose, monitor and treat heart conditions with precision and compassion. Philanthropy helps ensure that patients receive the right care at the right time.

Donations have helped bring innovative tools like ReDS™ devices to our communities. This noninvasive technology allows clinicians to quickly measure fluid levels in the lungs, helping detect early signs of heart failure before symptoms become severe. With faster insights, care teams can intervene sooner, often preventing hospital readmissions and improving quality of life for patients managing chronic heart conditions.

Philanthropy also helped make new cardiac catheterization labs possible at the Baptist Health Hardin Medical Pavilion. These advanced labs support minimally invasive procedures that diagnose and treat heart conditions more efficiently, expanding access to lifesaving interventions close to home.

Beyond individual tools and facilities, donor support allows Baptist Health hospitals to remain at the forefront of cardiac technology, adapting to advancements in imaging, monitoring and treatment that elevates care across the region. It’s an investment not only in equipment, but in people: both patients and the caregivers who rely on these resources to deliver exceptional heart care every day.
