More than $1 million to enhance pediatric care
WHAS Crusade for Children: making the lives of children better
Since 2022, the WHAS Crusade for Children has awarded more than $1 million to Baptist Health Foundation Hardin (previously Hardin Memorial Hospital Foundation) to strengthen care for the future of our region: our children.
The long-standing partnership between Baptist Health Hardin and WHAS Crusade for Children has enabled the enhancement of pediatric services in Hardin County that benefit hundreds of children each year and has laid the groundwork to continue benefiting future generations of children for years to come.
“The significance of WHAS Crusade for Children cannot be overstated,” said Tracee Troutt, chief development officer for Baptist Health Hardin. “From assisting in the renovation of our level II Neonatal Intensive Care unit to upgrading our pediatric therapy program, the Crusade has made a huge difference in the lives of central Kentucky children.”
While the Kosair for Kids NICU in Elizabethtown is one of the most obvious examples of the Crusade’s generous contributions, the hospital is filled with stories of the Crusade’s kindness and blessings.
