Building the future of healthcare
For 100 years, Baptist Health, along with our community supporters, has worked to build happier, healthier lives. As we work toward our next 100 years of dedicated care, we are devoted to a future of health for everyone, everywhere.
During our next century of care, we are focused on personalized, patient-centered care that offers innovative approaches, increased convenience, and expanded access for patients throughout Kentucky. At Baptist Health, each patient is more than a number, and we are dedicated to providing them with the best possible outcomes.
Generous donations from people like you help us to advance healthcare through creating new facilities, breaking down barriers to care, and growing to meet the rising needs of the communities we serve.
Subhead: How Baptist Health is maximizing donated dollars to serve our patients
Rising to meet the growing demand for cancer care
To meet the growing needs of eastern Kentucky, Baptist Health Richmond is investing in the strategic relocation, renovation and expansion of their cancer care services. Baptist Health Richmond’s Cancer Center will nearly double the number of patients able to receive essential care, reduce the need to use stairs or an elevator with a ground floor location, and offer an on-site pharmacy equipped to meet the needs of each patient undergoing care.
Expanding access to care in rural communities
With a long-standing history as the home of one of the busiest emergency rooms in the state, Baptist Health Corbin is dedicated to rising to meet the growing demand for essential care in their region. The construction of the Baptist Health Corbin Medical Tower will house an emergency room, allow for the expansion of critical care, and increase the number of private, acute-care patient rooms to support the growing number of patients seeking care and medical treatment in and around Whitley County.
Innovative solutions to enhancing patient care
As the largest and most ambitious project in central and eastern Kentucky in the last 25 years, the recently opened Baptist Health Hamburg features a multistory hospital and emergency department, an outpatient surgery center, and a retail and medical office building. The $253-million medical campus, located along the Interstate 64 and Interstate 75 corridor on the northeast side of Lexington, will provide innovative care to thousands of patients with expanded services and a more convenient location.
