Through support from generous donors, Baptist Health has implemented the Epic Financial Assistance Module. This component seamlessly connects patients to the resources they need by offering financial counseling workflow tools to capture information, track qualifying discounts and automate approved concessions in future treatments.

“Access to preventative, primary healthcare helps protect our friends and family, treating and preventing illness and detecting issues at their most treatable stage,” said Myndall Coffman, associate vice president of patient access. “Improving access to healthcare for everyone is incredibly important, and that is why financial assistance programs are fundamental to the health of our entire population. Cost can be a deterrent to treatment, and we’re here to help people understand and identify available programs designed to help them during their most vulnerable times.”
