Building a Stronger Future: Helen Fardo's Dedication to Advancing Local Healthcare
Over the last few decades, Helen Fardo has played an instrumental part in helping local healthcare evolve with rapidly growing technology, growing populations and community development. From the birth of her two sons, Helen’s long history with Baptist Health Richmond spans back to its very inception.
“I was on the board of directors during the transition to become Baptist Health Richmond,” Helen said. “I have served for many years in this capacity, eventually shifting to serve at a system level in 2022. I believe strongly in the mission of Baptist Health and the importance of a strong local hospital.”
As a realtor with Coldwell Banker McMahan, Helen also understands the economic impact of having a robust medical presence in this community. From providing employment to attracting new businesses, she believes good medical care is essential to the overall health of the community and the surrounding regional area.
“We deserve to have good medical care here,” she said. “From students at Eastern Kentucky University to those relocating into our community, the ability to have the care we need, when we need it, is vital. Our giving helps to assure that it will continue to be strong for those who come after us. I hope to inspire others to give, and that together, our giving will result in the best care possible for our community.”
As someone who has built a career on showcasing the benefits of the Richmond community to prospective buyers, Helen understands that access to care is a key factor to sustaining growth and development.
