Beginning at birth, Kim Sweazy’s connection to Baptist Health Lexington is one that has stood the test of time. Now serving as a member of the Baptist Health Lexington Administrative Board of Directors and the Baptist Health System Foundation Cabinet Chairwoman, Kim finds her continued involvement to be a “no-brainer.”

“When you believe in what an organization does, it is an easy choice to get involved and stay involved,” she said. “Baptist Health is invested in hearing from people in multiple communities and all walks of life to ensure they are meeting the needs of the patients they serve. One thing everyone has in common - from the staff to volunteers - is they care about their communities and building a future that enhances the quality of life."

As an experienced community relations senior analyst at Toyota, Kim is thankful to have access to healthcare which provides an economic foundation for growth and quality care to those she loves most.

“The element of trust weaved throughout Baptist Health’s culture is what sets them apart,” Kim said. “The sense of attentive care and empathy is evident in every person you come across is able to add to someone’s welfare and enhances healing when you need it most.”

Despite a busy schedule, Kim believes if you are passionate about something, you figure out a way to be involved.
