Occupation: Tony is the President & CEO at Southern Indiana Works, a nonprofit that collaborates with businesses and provides training and career services to individuals. Why did you chose to get involved with Baptist Health?
Tony, through his daytime job, and now as a board member for Baptist Health Foundation Floyd, is finding fulfillment and helping cast a vision for Clark, Floyd, Harrison, Crawford, Scott and Washington counties in Indiana – a future full of opportunities.
“Baptist Health is the largest employer in Floyd County and one of the anchor institutions of the community. Anything that advances their mission, advances ours,” says Tony. “Baptist Health Foundation Floyd falls in line with what our organization does and what I personally find valuable.”
Baptist Health Floyd urgent care recently treated Tony’s wife. “Compared to other urgent cares, Baptist Health is night and day. At Baptist, we walked in and went straight to triage.” Yes, he wants career opportunities for Southern Indiana Works participants, but he also wants great care – for himself, his family and the community.
“How do we make our world better than we found it?” asks Tony, who shows up to work passionate about what he does. He’s finding a way by giving back – in his professional life and as a Baptist Health Foundation Floyd board member. Getting ready for the day has never been easier.
