Hospital Week
More than 100 years ago, the first National Hospital Week was celebrated in 1918 in response to the outbreak of the Spanish flu. Over the last century, we have faced multiple challenges that have required our healthcare industry to repeatedly meet the needs of those we serve. This annual celebration is a chance to thank the many individuals working and making a difference in hospitals throughout the country, specifically those who are working to serve you right here at Baptist Health Floyd. From nurses and doctors to environmental services and dietary professionals, all of our team members have displayed dedication to patients and their communities despite the risk it has presented to themselves in recent years. Lives are being saved because of the commitment and compassion they bring to work each day.
