Why are you volunteering your time on the Baptist Health Foundation Hardin Board? I realize more and more what a treasure our hospital is and I want to be more than a consumer of all the wonderful things Baptist Health Hardin does for Hardin County.  It's an exciting time to be a part of the story of our growing healthcare center.

Why is supporting community organizations and initiatives important for you? This is the place I grew up and where I have chosen to raise my family, and I want to invest my time to make our community the best it can be. I want our healthcare system to be the place where the best and the brightest are drawn to serve.

What does gratitude mean to you and what are you grateful for? I'm grateful that there are people who have chosen a career in healthcare. I think we have all learned more these last two years what it means to be cared for and the unique gifts of those who do it well.  I've been "in the chairs" of our hospital more than I would like the last year and I have walked away each time overwhelmed with gratitude for the care my loved ones have been given at our hospital.
