Why are you volunteering your time on the Baptist Health Foundation Hardin Board? I think it is important for all citizens to be engaged within their capacity to try to make their community better and make it something that we all want and need it to be. I’m proud to say we live in a thriving community and I’m just trying to make a difference.

What unique perspective do you bring to the board? As a local businessman and retired Major General, I try to bring a perspective that encompasses the needs of our civilian population along with the needs of our active duty military members, veterans, and their families.

What does gratitude mean to you and what are you grateful for? Baptist Health Hardin has made a significant impact upon our region. Nearly everyone in the community has been positively impacted, whether they received care through Baptist Health or a loved one did. Baptist Health Hardin is a model healthcare system for other communities. It continues to thrive and by all indications, will thrive well into the future.
