Why are you volunteering your time on the Baptist Health Foundation Hardin Board? As COO for Baptist Health, I regularly work with leaders who represent our nine hospitals throughout Kentucky and southern Indiana. Baptist Health Hardin is poised for momentous growth with the development of the Outpatient Medical Pavilion, an expansion that reflects the overall growth of the healthcare system’s 10-county service area. As these kinds of developments emerge, it’s important for me to be on the “ground floor” in discussions regarding the support Baptist Health hospitals receive through the Baptist Health Foundation.
As someone who serves in an administrative capacity at Baptist Health, what value do you see in Baptist Health Foundation Hardin? Baptist Health Foundation Hardin’s impact on Baptist Health Hardin has been and continues to be very clear. The Foundation has raised millions for Baptist Health Hardin, providing the healthcare system with funding for essential services such as pediatric therapy, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner (SANE)/Forensic program and more.
What does gratitude mean to you and what are you grateful for? I’m grateful to be working with such an impressive network of healthcare professionals who provide expert care for millions throughout our region. I’m also grateful for organizations such as Baptist Health Foundation Hardin that help make this mission possible.
