Why are you volunteering your time on the Baptist Health Foundation Hardin Board? Through my position on the board, I am always considering rural healthcare. I want to ensure that Baptist Health Hardin continues to reach rural populations within the region. I also want to provide a voice for Meade County residents who are cared for or employed by Baptist Health Hardin.
Why is supporting community organizations and initiatives important for you? For me, it’s always been about paying it forward. Through my faith, I believe that part of your tithes is your time and your talents, not just your money.
What does gratitude mean to you and what are you grateful for? Gratitude is everything. Even in the midst of hardships, you still have to find the good. For me, that includes my freedom, my faith, my family and all the blessings I’ve been given.
