Occupation: Rick is a former college and professional basketball player who played for the University of Kentucky in college and the Indiana Pacers, Boston Celtics, and the Phoenix Suns in the NBA. He now serves as a Louisville-based licensed realtor.
Family: Rick is married to his wife Bonnie and has a son and a grandson.
Why do you volunteer in the community? Because I’ve had a blessed life and career, I like to give back as much as I can to our community.
What is the role that healthcare has played in your life or the lives of your family, friends or neighbors? Healthcare has played a major role in my life due to my NBA career and the resulting injuries and surgeries. I feel fortunate to have had great doctors and healthcare providers.
Today, who or what are you most grateful for? At this point in my life, I am grateful to have a wonderful family, great friends and good health.
