Why do you volunteer in the community? When I see a need in the community, I also see an opportunity to help. It gives me pleasure to be involved in the community and to see needs met.

How does healthcare support a thriving community? As someone who has been a long-time supporter of Baptist Health LaGrange and their exceptional team of healthcare providers, I know the importance of healthcare in the community. At Baptist Health LaGrange, I have seen patients of all incomes and backgrounds receive the care they need.

Can you spot gratitude? How? I’m able to spot gratitude because of the gratitude I’ve gained over the years by giving back to the community. My family was very grateful to open our home to a family from Guatemala in their time of need. I’m grateful for the friendships I gained through this experience. A gesture of kindness can truly lead to a lifetime of friendship. I’m also so grateful for my family and all of the blessings I’ve experienced in my life. God is so good!
