Family: Dawn and her husband have 2 children Harper and Baleigh. 

How was volunteerism encouraged in your family or community? My mom has always been heavy into volunteering in the community and church and I've followed her lead with these things.

How does healthcare support a thriving community? I think healthcare is the backbone of a thriving community and one of the reasons I'm so interested in helping with Baptist Health.

How can gratitude help heal you spiritually, physically and emotionally? Gratitude, being thankful for things, can help with feeling better in your spirit, body, and emotions. Seeing my mom find strength in her faith while dealing with ALS has taught me a lot. With my dad and brother working in healthcare, gratitude helps us stay strong and supportive as a family during tough times.
