Education: Jeannie is a graduate of Lynn Camp High School in Corbin, KY and continued her education at Sue Bennett College in London, KY.

 

Community Support: Jeannie is a member of the Park Hill Baptist Church. She is a member of the School Based Committee for Governor’s Scholar Program for Corbin High School. Jeannie is also a member of the Southern KY Chamber of Commerce and the Board Chairman for the City of Corbin Tourist & Convention Commission. She is also a Continue Care Hospital Board Member. 

 

Occupation: Jeannie is the Whitley County President at Cumberland Valley National Bank.

 

Family: Jeannie has two sons, Zach and Matthew Hensley and two grandchildren, Parker and Alaska.

 

How was volunteerism encouraged in your family or community?

We have always been taught from an early age to support and love one another and support our community by helping and encouraging others to support and reach out to those in need.

 

How does healthcare support a thriving community?

Healthcare is very vital in sustaining a thriving community. Without proper healthcare a community could not thrive.

 

How can gratitude help heal you spiritually, physically and emotionally?

You have joy and satisfaction in knowing you made a difference in the life of someone else and that feeling brings you contentment and fulfillment.
