Suzie Razmus

Hometown: Corbin, KY

Education: Suzie is a graduate of Corbin High School and continued her education at Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, KY earning a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. 

Community Support: Suzie is a member of the First Christian Church in Corbin, KY. She is also involved with the Freeman Foundation, Corbin Community Backpack, Elks Club, Rotary Club, Carnegie Foundation and Friends of Corbin Public Library. Suzie is a Board Co-Chair for YDK! You Decide Kentucky and is involved in KY League of Cities.

Occupation: Suzie is the Mayor of Corbin and co-owns two businesses in the area, Tri-County Cineplex and Suzie’s Espresso.

Family: Suzie is married to Greg and they have four sons.

How was volunteerism encouraged in your family or community?

My parents both actively volunteered for causes they were passionate about. I was led by example.

How does healthcare support a thriving community?

Without attaining the healthiest community you can achieve, you are not able to collectively rise to the challenges and opportunities when they arise.

How can gratitude help heal you spiritually, physically and emotionally?

It creates a mindset of positivity and optimism that allows you to frame your outlook on life.
