Family: Bob is married to his wife Mary Lucy and has three children and five grandchildren.
How was volunteerism encouraged in your family or community? My family did not push me or my siblings to volunteer. However, they were excellent examples of helping others in need and we saw how important it was to step forward.
How do you hope healthcare grows in your community? I am hopeful that healthcare becomes more integrated into the community as opposed to just an expense or only a lifeline when one is very ill. The goal would be to work together all the time.
Today, who or what are you most grateful for? First, I’m most grateful for family and wonderful friends. I am truly blessed. Then, I’m also very grateful to be associated with kind and caring doctors, nurses and staff at Baptist. They truly are examples of giving to others.
