Community Support: Billy has worked with Home of the Innocents, Sunrise Children's Services, the Louisville Zoo, Hosparus Health, the Healing Place and USA Cares.

Occupation: Billy serves as National Healthcare Practice Leader and Senior Vice President of Benefits for McGriff Insurance Services.

Family: Billy is married to his wife Denise and has two children.

Why do you volunteer in the community? Volunteerism was taught to my siblings and me by my parent's actions at a very young age. Our family has been very blessed and we owe it to our community to give back and to help others rise. A stronger, healthier region helps everyone thrive.

What is the role that healthcare has played in your life or the lives of your family, friends or neighbors? As an employee benefits consultant, I help employers and their members navigate the healthcare industry on a daily basis. I am very passionate about our community providing easy access to affordable, high-quality care.

Today, who or what are you most grateful for? I'm incredibly grateful for my parents and how they raised us. Looking back, we grew up in a nearly perfect household. A home full of love, spirituality, compassion and a true desire to live the Golden Rule. Because of them, we are who we are today and all live our lives with purpose.
