Why do you volunteer in the community? Volunteering helps develop stronger social networks and friendships. By volunteering, I become more active, mentally and physically. Volunteering is important as it offers essential help to worthwhile causes, people in need, and the wider community.
How do you hope healthcare grows in your community? We as a society need to continue to have access to comprehensive, quality healthcare services in our community. It is extremely important for promoting and maintaining health, preventing and managing disease, reducing unnecessary disability and premature death, as well as achieving health equity for all Americans.
Today, who or what are you most grateful for? I am grateful for so many things, and I don't always express my gratitude nearly as often as I should!! As always, I am eternally grateful for my family and friends! They make my life wonderful and blessed! The support, love and guidance that my family and friends provide me everyday is the most important thing in my life today!
