How does healthcare support a thriving community? Healthcare is a critical component for a thriving community for a variety of reasons:- Ability to get appropriate care for citizens.
- Participation in the community to enhance the overall viability of the community.
- Prospective companies and residents want to know there is a strong healthcare system in place as that is a sign of community vitality.
- Healthcare can serve as a source of expertise in times of needs (ex: medical issues in the community, pandemic responses, addressing mass accidents/injuries).
