Emergency Department Pediatrics

Baptist Health Hardin’s Emergency Department is one of Kentucky’s busiest emergency departments and sees over 70,000 patients a year. Of those patients, more than 1,000 are pediatric patients seen each month.

Pediatric patients demand a unique type of care and Baptist Health Hardin is committed to providing them the important services they need.

“Visiting the emergency department can be a frightening ordeal for a child,” Foundation Board Chairman Joe Prather said. “The Foundation works to ensure these precious children receive care in the most comforting setting possible.”
