Buddies For Life Golf Outing

The 22nd annual Buddies for Life Golf Outing will be a fun filled day of golf, great food, prizes and excellent networking opportunities with the leadership teams from Baptist Health Louisville, La Grange, System and the Greater Louisville Foundation Board.
The event raises funds to support the Buddies for Life program, which provides pediatric patients and visitors a “buddy for life”, a small stuffed animal elephant to comfort them during their time at the hospital. The Long family started this event, when they lost their daughter, Maria, to brain cancer when she was only 12 years old. Her favorite animal was an elephant, and she called everyone in the hospital her “buddy for life”.
