Oncology: A Disease That Doesn't Discriminate

Identifying Issues to Essential Care

Odds are, you know or are related to someone that has or has had cancer. Cancer does not discriminate based on age, religion, gender or any number of other factors. Cancer care is essential to the survival of anyone who has been diagnosed with it. Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville serves each patient in the Merle M. Mahr Cancer Center to the best of their ability, but as a rural hospital we have limits to how many patients we can care for in one day.

Infusing Change in our Community

Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville aims to meet the needs of even more patients that seek critical treatment associated with a cancer diagnosis. With the expansion of our oncology space, we will be able to serve more patients, purchase additional equipment, expand our infusion area, allow for better use of space to meet pertinent needs and drastically improve patient experience. Together, we can ensure that those within the community receive the care that they need without having to leave the comfort of their home environment and allowing them to have close access to a support system that can help them through their treatment journey.
